Will
the Internet Kill Traditional Car Radio?
on line sites could deem radio irrelevant
Did you ever think it would come to this? The internet has killed man an industry, but radio? Did you ever think
the internet could replace your favorite radio station? I know I never thought that.
But here's the deal, smart phones like the iPhone, the Blackberry and the Google Android line of phones may just be
the final nail in the radio industry's coffin.
Here is the threat: The smart phones access internet radio stations that stream free music all day long. Now, the
latest car radios are becoming compatible with smart phones. Therefore, you basically are able to listen to what
you want, when you want over the internet and hear it on your car radio. Forget those awful commercials.
So far in our CT Ford Dealership, we haven't seen these internet ready car
stereos, but I'm sure it won't be long now.
You can real all about it here.
