The Lexus GX 460 Moves Out Of Consumer Reports' Basement
Changes prompt publication to revoke "Don't Buy" Status

In what was a pound of salt thrown on Toyota's wound, Consumer Reports recently issued a "Don't Buy" rating for the Lexus GX 460 SUV. Apparently, the car had a risk of rolling over.
This could not have come at a worse time for Toyota who was dealing with the aftermath of it's recall problems with the Prius and other models. The "Don't Buy Rating caused Lexus to stop manufacturing the model until a fix for the problem could be found. Apparently they found one, because Consumer Reports just reversed its "Don't Buy' recommendation. Read about it here.
