Looks Like Sirius XM Will Continue To Be An Available Option
Company posts a profit in latest quarter

I am a subscriber to Sirius Satellite Radio and I love it. I originally signed up for the programming because (okay I'll admit it) I am a fan of Howard Stern. So when he moved over to satellite, so did I.

That was about four years ago, and I have stayed with it since. I absolutely love the programming. I am a talk radio kind of person, and Sirius XM delivers an unbelievable amount of quality content for like 12 bucks a month.
The problem has always been however, will satellite radio every make a profit and will it survive. They have been bleeding red ink since their inception, and the merger between Sirius and XM didn't seem to make things any better -- Until now.

Sirius just posted a 41 million dollar profit this past quarter, erasing a 53 million dollar loss during the same quarter last year. This is good news for the struggling communications company. But not everything is rosy as this Bloomberg.com report suggests.

One thing for sure, I will continue to recommend Sirius XM to all the clients I meet on the show room floor of our Ford Dealership in CT.
