Electric Cars Will Not Be A Big Hit
Only 2%-5% of Cars Will Be Electric In 2020

For those of us who are anxiously awaiting the arrival of electric cars, we may be stunned to learn that they probably will have little impact on the car market, at least for the foreseeable future. Deloitte Consulting did a study in which it predicted that by 2020, less than 5% Of cars on the road will be electric powered automobiles.

The study sites the high price of batteries and the limited distance that an electric car can drive on one charge. So clearly, the future of the electric car may not be as important as many of us think. In fact, we are probably still a long way from a time when gas powered cars are no longer the norm.
