Celebrity Car Owners and Their Pimped Out Rides

People are always interested at keeping abreast of what their
favourite celeb is wearing to the oscars, which restaurant they
are dining in and gossip on who they are dating. For the car
fanatics what is the celebs latest ride whilst cruising around
the streets in blacked out windows usually trying to stay
anonymous. However a driving experience is one hobby which many
celebrities will tell you is all for showing. Just watch MTV
cribs and you will see many stars devoting a large section of
their grounds to their beloved super flashy, turbo charged top
marques cars. From Lamborghinis to old classic numbers such as
the unique Mercedess SSK as driven by Sammy Davis Junior as
published on several major second hand car retailers the public
can have the chance to buy the stars cars. These vehicles will
often go for well over the market value, there is something
impressive to say...'this was Brad Pitt's car', we would guess
most of the people queing up to bid would be from the female
side, vice versa if it was the likes of Megan Fox.

When watching these celebrity style programs the Hummer vehicle
seems to crop up often. The Hummer brand has always created mass
urban appeal, looking back from when the Hummer H2 first came
into production in the US in 2003 it instantly became the must
have vehicle to have in a celebrities possession taking less than
two years to infiltrate the world wide export market and create
a cult audience in which it still serves today. What many owners
enjoy about the Hummer is to have the capability of customising
it to their preference. There are several body kits out there,
then there are tons of choices on alloy rims ranging from the
general 18" literally up to the likes of 36" as seen on 50 cents
black Hummer showcased in the Dub car shows around America.

Lets face it, celebrities aren't seen driving Volvo's, many want
to stand out and will pay to great lengths in order to purchase
rare one offs or beat the market and buy new cars which have
massive waiting lists. Many manufacturers will be more than
happy to offer preview deliveries to the stars, some no doubt
will get paid once hitting A List status. We are now seeing a big
shift where celebrities want to be seen supporting eco friendly
practices, there are more and more cars now being developed
which are friendlier to environment whilst having the power and
styling of a super car. Just take a look at some of these
prototype eco super cars and you will see just how far advanced
the car manufacturers are looking ahead...Jaguar C-XC, Ignacio
Garcia M-112 and Jay Leno's designed Eco-Friendly Supercar
entitled the eco jet.

The Hummer is iconic with blinged out American rap stars
although the appeal does not stop there, here are a list of some
of the celebrities ride you may not have been aware of…

David Beckham

With a showroom of vehicles around the world totalling over £1
million David commented his young Son Brooklyn's favourite is the
Hummer, he even purchased a small scale electric Hummer buggy
for Brooklyn to drive around the garden on.

Paris Hilton

It is reported in 2007, Paris had ordered a hybrid converted
Hummer H2, it is good to see celebrities taking an important
stance on the environment. There are also options to convert
Hummer vehicles onto LPG. The conversion kits are much more
robust now and create less issues with the engine system
compared to older models.

James Cameron

The director of Avatar has reportedly been spotted driving a

Reported to own a big white Hummer H2, the unique and
interesting girl expresses her quirky self further more.

Fergie from Black eyed Peas

After the Black Eyed Peas performed in the Live Earth Concert
in 2007, Fergie decided to put her Hummer up for bid on eBay,
after 53 bids, the Hummer sold for $64,199.91. Rumour has it,
the Hummer was sold to a limo hire company

Djibril Cissé

Previously playing for Liverpool football club, the French
footballer of Ivorian descent has a string of luxury vehicles,
one being a fully pimped out Hummer H2.
